Hotel Indigo in Oman is currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Accountants to join our dynamic team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the overall financial operations of our hotel.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring they adhere to accounting standards
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights for decision-making
- Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Prepare and submit various financial reports to management
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and compliance requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred
- Proven experience as an Accountant in the hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the hospitality industry
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
