Job Responsibilities
- Conduct eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect eye diseases.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Diagnose and treat eye conditions, referring patients to specialists when necessary.
- Provide guidance on proper eye care practices and preventive measures.
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay informed about advancements in optometry and incorporate new techniques into practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on the use and care of prescribed eyewear.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
- Valid license to practice as an Optometrist in Qatar.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Optometrist.
